A must-see vineyard set in lush landscaped surroundings. Established in 1980, the vineyard, while young, has a strong reputation backed by many award-winning wines. Visitors are welcome at the cellar door daily in a charming tasting room. Cheese boards are available for picnics on the grounds and a barbeque facility is available. In the summer, the vineyard is host to a sculpture exhibition and a jazz festival.

Offering fine wines and olive oil, Kennedy Point Vineyard is open for tastings. Situated on steep slopes overlooking the Hauraki Gulf also makes a visit a delight. Open weekends from 1pm to 5pm or by appointment. A guesthouse onsite provides accommodation.

On top a hill with 360 degree views is a grand backdrop to sip an array of wines at the Te Whau Vineyard. The cellar door (available for tastings and sales) and the cafe welcome visitors. Open in the summer (late October to Easter) every day except Tuesday from 11am to 5pm, and in the open in the winter every weekend from 11am to 4:30pm. Vineyard can also be suited for group events or meetings.

Sheltered in the Te Matuku Valley, Passage Rock Wines produces a variety of wines from Cabernet Franc to Chardonnay following Swiss integrated wine production methods. Tours explaining the winemaking method along with tastings are available daily from 10am to 4pm, December to March, and from 11am to 4pm weekends, April to November.
