Blues Rugby
The Blues—the team that represents the Auckland Rugby Football Union in the Super-12. The Super-12 includes other teams from South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. The season runs from February until May. The Blues call Eden Park stadium their home.

Auckland, host to the America's Cup yacht race for 1999/2000 and 2002/2003, has established an advanced marina for events and entertainment. Once a derelict part of the waterfront, America's Cup Village is now a bustling port with large berthing facilities. The rejuvenated area has also attracted many restaurants, cafes, shops and hotels increasing the Village's tourist appeal.

Revered by many, feared by all, the infamous All Blacks is New Zealand's official rugby team. In existence since at least 1905, the All Blacks represent their country in major international rugby competitions, such as Sevens and the Rugby World Cup. When the All Blacks perform their famous pre-game Huka, it is evident that rugby in this country is more than just a sport.
